- 2015年10月17日、ニュワス公園とGuazu Metropolitano公園を散歩した。メトロポリタン公園の湖散歩道を歩いて行くとプリンシパル湖がある。自然状態の湖と湿地帯が広がる。この湖にアマサギの群が飛来していた。群れて飛ぶ姿は壮観だ。
- On October 10, 2015, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. Walking the Lake promenade I reached Principals Lake. I saw a natural lake and the damp area of natural environment. I saw a flock of Snowy egret that flew and stayed in the lake. The view of a flock of Snowy egret in the air was spectacular.

アマサギの成鳥は、繁殖期以外では白い羽毛、黄色いくちばし、灰色っぽい黄色の脚を持つ。
The non-breeding adult has mainly white plumage, a yellow bill and greyish-yellow legs.

アマサギの群は20羽くらいだった。しかし、良く見ると中に色の違ったサギがいる。くちばしと脚が黒く脚の指が黄色いサギが2羽混じっている。これはユキコサギだろう。
A flock of Snowy egret was around 20 of them. However, there is a heron with different color in the flock when I look carefully. There are two herons in the flock that have black bill and leg and yellow fingers. These may be the Snowy egret.

飛んでいたサギの群が一斉に木の枝に止った。チャコ地方の原野の風景を見ているみたいだ。このメトロポリタン公園にはチャコ地方に似た自然環境が残っているようだ。
A flock of flying herons perched on tree branches all at once. It seems the scenery of the wilderness of the Chaco district. Natural environments like the Chaco district seems to be left in this Guazu Metropolitano Park.
