ニュワス公園のカンムリカラカラ （Southern crested caracara seen in Ñu guazu Park）

Nu Guazu公園では、カラカラが地上の木陰で休んでいる姿を見ることが多い。
I often see Caracara in Nu Guazu Park that is resting in shadow on ground of trees.

この日にはカラカラが草原から小枝を広い飛び去っていく姿をみた。巣作りをしているのだろう。

カンムリカラカラの食事 - 2 (Meal of Southern crested caracara - 2)

6月6日、Nu Guazu公園内の草原にカラカラガいるのが見えた。かなり遠かったが、カラカラは木の枝のような物をくわえているように見えた。また巣作りの準備かなと思って見ていたら、こちらに向かって飛んできた。
On June 6, I saw a Caracara on the grassy plain in Nu Guaz Park. It was considerably far, but seemed that the Caracara had something like branch of the tree. The bird flew towards me when I was watching it thinking that the bird might be in preparation of its nest.

だんだん近づいてきた。カラカラがくわえているのは木の枝ではなく動物の骨だ。
The Caracara gradually approached. It was a bone of an animal not the branch of a tree that the bird had.

カラカラは私から割合近い場所に着地した。
The Caracara landed comparatively near place from me.

確かに動物の骨をくわえている。かなり大きい骨だ。ちょうど見やすい場所に止ってくれた。
The bird surely has the bone of an animal. It is a big bone. The bird could stopped at the place that I was easy to just look at.

近いので骨の構造も見える。動物の前足または鳥の翼の尺骨と橈骨、その先に肉の付いた腕骨がつながっているように見える。カラカラはまた飛び始めた。
The structure of the bone is visible since it is near. It may be a forefoot of an animal or wing of a bird consists of the ulna, radius and carpus with some meat. The Caracara started to fly again.

やはり地上近くを飛んでいく。よく休憩している所を見かける木陰に向かっているようだ。
The Caracara is flying low close to the ground. It seems to go to the shade of a tree where I often see it in rest.

カラカラは見ている私の近くをゆったりと飛んで行くので、カメラの自動焦点もよく追随している。カメラを構えて見ている私に、格好良い所を見せてやろう、と言っているかのような行動だった。ニュワス公園では、多くの人が5kmのジョギングコースを利用しているが、私にとっては多くの自然の営みを見ることができる場所だ。
Because the Caracara is flying relaxed near me, the automatic focus of the camera is following it well. It was an action that the Caracara seemed to tell me “I’ll show you my cool action.” In Nu Guazu Park, many people use a jogging course of 5km, but it is a natural rich place for me to watch many workings of nature.
