- 2015年12月8日（宗教祝日）、ニュワス公園とGuazú Metropolitano公園を散歩した。 川沿いの散歩道を歩いていたら前方の電線に頭部の黒い小さい鳥が止った。以前見たズグロヒワのようだ。今回は前回より明瞭な写真を撮れた。
- On November 8, 2015 (religious holiday), I strolled in Ñu Guazú Park and Guazú Metropolitano Park. When I was walking the riverside promenade a small bird with black head perched on the electric wire in front of me. It was the Hooded siskin that I saw once before. I was able to take photos of it more clearly than before.

前方の電線に頭部の黒い小さい鳥が止った。以前見たズグロヒワのようだ。今回は前回より明瞭な写真を撮れた。
On November 8, 2015 (religious holiday), I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park.
When I was walking the riverside promenade a small bird with black head perched on the electric wire in front of me.
It was the Hooded siskin that I saw once before. I was able to take photos of it more clearly than before.

この小鳥の羽毛の色を見るとヒワを連想できる。でもなぜ頭部だけ真っ黒に進化したんだろう？
I can associate this bird to Fringillidae when I look at the color of the plumage. But why would only the head evolve in black?

- 2016年1月4日、ニュワス公園と北西に接するGuazu Metropolitano Parkを散歩した。平日だったため、ジョギングをする市民もほとんどいなかった。 その上、曇りであまり暑くなかった。そのためか多くの野鳥を見ることが出来た。この日に新しく見た2種を含め28種の野鳥の写真を撮った。 こんなに多くの小鳥がいるのか！平日は仕事で忙しかったが、休暇を取ってもっと来て見ればよかった。翌日、私はパラグアイを去りました。
- On January 4, 2016, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and adjacent Guazu Metropolitano Park. There were few peoples who jogged because it was weekdays. Besides, it was cloudy and was not so hot. Probably by these reason I was able to see many wild birds. I took photos of 28 species of wild birds including two species that I saw newly on this day. There are so many small birds here! I should have visited this park more on weekdays, though I was busy on weekdays by work. I left Paraguay the next day.
大メトロポリタン（Guazu Metropolitano）公園の緑の散歩道（Paseo Verde）を歩いていると、
草むらで小さな草の花を食べている小鳥に気付いた。羽毛の黄色と黒の模様が目立つズグロヒワのオスだ。
When I was walking the green promenade of Guazu Metropolitano Park, I noticed a small bird which was eating a flower
of a small grass. It is a male of Hooded siskin with outstanding yellow and black plumage.

近くに羽毛の模様が似たもう一羽の小鳥がいる。この小鳥の頭部は黒くないのでズグロヒワのメスだろう。
There was another small bird whose plumage resembled the Hooded siskin. This bird may be a female of Hooded siskin
because the head color is not black.

メスの羽毛模様はオスと似ているが頭部は黄色っぽく黒くない。
The plumage of the female is similar to that of the male, but head is yellowish and not black.

近づいたら小鳥は近くの木の枝に飛んで移動した。広げた翼の黒と黄色の模様は美しい。
The bird flew and moved to the branch of the tree nearby when I approached. The black
and yellow pattern of the opened wings is beautiful.

- 2015年10月31日、ニュワス公園とGuazu Metropolitano公園を散歩した。 メトロポリタン公園の湖散歩道を歩いていたら前方の路上に黄色い小鳥が来たので写真を撮ったがすぐ飛び去った。 残念、焦点がすれた、でも初めて見るズグロヒワのようだ。
- On October 31, 2015, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. When I was walking the Lake promenade a yellow small bird came on the road in front of me. I took a photo but it flew away immediately. It was a regret that the photo was out of focus, but I could see the bird might be Hooded siskin to see for the first time.
