2015年1月3日、ニュワス公園内を散歩した。林の木の幹をキツツキのような格好で動き回る鳥がいた。 以前、Asuncion中心街の広場で見たことがあったので、すぐキバシリと分かった。 - Bird that creeps the tree? Or bird that runs the tree?
January 3, 2015, I took a walk in Nu guazu park. There was a bird on the tree trunk moving around like a woodpecker. Previously, I had seen the bird at a square in Asuncion city center; I could see immediately the bird to be a Woodcreeper.
林の木の幹をキツツキのような格好で動き回る鳥がいた。以前、Asuncion中心街の広場で見たことがあったので、すぐキバシリと分かった。 小鳥はカメラの方向を向いた、目が前を見るのに適するフクロウのような配置になっている。

The bird has faced the direction of the camera; the eyes are in place such as owl to be suitable for front viewing.

小鳥は翼も振動させすばやく動くので這うイメージではないが、日本語の木を走るというイメージでもない。
Since the bird quickly moves using also wings vibrated, it is neither an image of creeping nor an image of running as in Japanese name.

鋭い爪で木をつかみ逆さになっても動き回ることが出来る。くちばしの形、姿、背中の色などカ マドドリに似ているが、木の虫を追うのにより適応した姿になっている。面白い進化の仕方だ。
Beak shape, body form and back color are similar to the Ovenbird; however, the bird has evolved to be adapted for chasing insects on the tree. It is the way of interesting evolution.

アスンシオン中心街広場で見たオニキバシリ (Woodcreeper seen at a plaza of Asuncion city center)
- Wikipedia: The Narrow-billed Woodcreeper (Lepidocolaptes angustirostris) is a species of bird in the Dendrocolaptinae subfamily. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Suriname, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests and dry savanna. As all members of its subfamily, it is a creeping bird which lives on small arthropods and vertebrates it catches under the bark of trees. The woodcreeper nests in cavities, both natural and bird-(e.g. woodpecker)made. It lays two to three white eggs, brooded jointly by the pair.
- Wikipedia: オニキバシリ亜科（オニキバシリあか、学名 Dendrocolaptinae）は、鳥類スズメ目カマドドリ科の亜科である。 分類によってはオニキバシリ科 Dendrocolaptidae とも。 かつては独立したオニキバシリ科とされてきたが、カマドドリ科に系統的に内包されるため、亜科として含められた。 ただしこれらを別科に保ったまま、カマドドリ科からヤブクグリ科 Scleruridae を分離する分類もある。
2013年11月30日、アスンシオン中心街議会前広場を散歩していると茶色っぽい小鳥が2羽木に止まった。 カマドドリかな？と思ったら木に垂直に止まりキツツキのような動きをする。こんどはキツツキかと思った。 初めて見る小鳥だ。もう少し近くにと近づくと別の木に移った。ここでも仰向け状態で木の上を動き回っている。 そうか、この小鳥はキバシリか。動き回って撮りにくかったけどなんとか数枚写真を撮れた。写真を見ると、 くちばしの形、姿、背中の色などカマドドリに似ている。オニキバシリの仲間のマミジロオニキバシリのようだ。
