ツバメの兄妹？ (Brother and sister of young swallows?)

• 2015年8月29日、冬から春への季節の変わり目で暑い日になった。この季節になるとニュワス公園の池近くの休憩所付近で良くツバメを見かける。 ここに巣を作るからだ。巣立った若いツバメは時々瓦屋根に休憩していることがある。
• On August 29, 2015, it was a hot day at the turning point of seasons from winter to spring. In this season I see swallows well near the rest station close to the pond of Nu Guazu park. This is because they make nests here. The young swallow which left the nest sometimes takes a break on the tiled roof.

2015年8月29日、冬から春への季節の変わり目で暑い日になった。この季節になるとニュワス公園の池近くの休憩所付近で良くツバメを見かける。ここに巣を作るからだ。巣立った若いツバメは時々瓦屋根に休憩していることがある。
On August 29, 2015, it was a hot day at the turning point of seasons from winter to spring. In this season I see swallows well near the rest station close to the pond of Nu Guazu park. この2羽はこの春に巣立った若いツバメのようだ。何を話しているのかな？
「ねえ、お兄ちゃん、パパとママはもう来てくれないの？ねえってば」「しらねーよ、オレに聞くな。」
These two swallows seem to be the young who left the nest in this spring. What are they talking about?
“Tony, do daddy and mom come now? Hey, hey ….” “I do not know. Don’t ask me.”

ニュワス公園に住むハイムネムラサキツバメ（Gray-breasted Martin living at Parque Ñu Guazu, Paraguay）

池の入り口にある休憩所に沢山のツバメが休んでいた。パラグアイでは冬から春にかけて(8, 9月)ツバメは子育てをするらしい。この写真のツバメは幼鳥のようだ。

A lot of swallows was resting on the resting place at the entrance of the pond. In Paraguay, from winter to spring (August, September) swallows appear to do parenting. Swallow of this photo seems to be juvenile.

ツバメは人をあまり恐れないので近くから観察できた。腹部は白っぽく胸に灰色の斑点がある。背中は見えないが頭の上は光沢のある青い色に見える。

I could observe the swallow from nearby because it does not so much afraid of the people. Abdomen is whitish and there are gray spots on the chest. The back is not visible but the head looks to be shiny blue.

空を飛んでいるツバメもいた、そして時々休憩所の屋根に舞い降りた。この姿からこのツバメはハイムネムラサキツバメと思われる。

There were also some swallows flying in the sky, and sometimes they flew down on the roof of the resting place. This swallow is thought to be Gray-breasted Martin from this figure.

ここは立法宮殿(Palacio Legislativo)、春の花ラパッチョ上方の屋根に夜間外灯が付いている。ズームインするとツバメが2羽、このしぐさは子ツバメでしょう。 (パラグアイ国アスンシオン市中心街 2013/09/21-11:46, SX50)　 This is the legislative palace. Night light is set on the roof above the spring flower Lapacho. Zooming-in of camera reveales two child swallows whose gesture suggests.

 

子ツバメが並んで親に餌をねだっている、もう十分飛べるのに。大きな口を開ける姿は日本でもおなじみ、日本のツバメは「のど赤きつばくらめ」だけどね。 (パラグアイ国アスンシオン市中心街 2013/09/21-11:50, SX50)　 Two child swallows are teasing their parent for food, they can fly enough though. Gesture to open the big mouth is familiar also for swallows in Japan, though Japanese swallow has red throat.

 

2013年7月14日、パラグアイの世界文化遺産トリニダー・デル・パラナを見学した。エンカルナシオンに一泊したが、ホテルの窓から見える遠くのアマチュア無線アンテナに沢山のツバメが止まっているのが見えた。遠いのでハイムネムラサキツバメなのかチャムネツバメなのか分からない。(パラグアイ国エンカルナシオン市 2013/07/14 16:30, SX50)
