- 2015年10月10日午後、ニュワス公園を散歩した。ニュワス公園とメトロポリタン公園の境界にある林で柵に止っている小鳥を見かけた。 この公園に沢山住んでいるMockingbirdかなと思ったが、色が違って見えたので写真を撮った。White-banded mockingbirdのようだ。 この鳥は主にアルゼンチンで繁殖し、非繁殖期にはパラグアイなどに長距離の渡りをするらしい。 かなり近くから写真を撮ったが、小鳥はあまり気にしていないようだった。ここのところ三日間小雨模様で気温が下がったためか（最高19℃） 小鳥は活発には動かなかった。私にとっては大変珍しい小鳥との遭遇だった。
- On October 10, 2015, I strolled in Ñu Guazu Park. I saw a bird which perched on a fence in the forest at the border of Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. I thought whether it was Chalk-browed mockingbird which lived in this park a lot, but I took photos because the color seemed different. The bird may be White-banded mockingbird. It is said that the breeding range of this bird appears to be largely in central Argentina and this bird is highly migratory moving north to Paraguay, etc. in the non-breeding season. I took the photos considerably nearby, but the bird did not seem to mind very much. The bird did not move lively probably because temperature fell with a gentle rain recently for three days (max. 19℃). It was an encounter with a very rare small bird for me.
2015年10月10日午後、ニュワス公園を散歩した。おとといから小雨模様だったが、午後になると空が明るくなったので散歩に出た。
でも時々小雨が降って傘をさしながらの散歩になった。ニュワス公園とメトロポリタン公園の境界にある林で柵に止っている小鳥を見かけた。
この公園に沢山住んでいるMockingbirdかなと思ったが、色が違って見えたので写真を撮った。
On October 10, 2015, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park. It had been drizzling for these three days, but I went out to walk because the sky
became bright in the afternoon. But it sometimes drizzled and I put up my umbrella. I saw a bird which perched on a fence
in the forest at the border of Ñu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. I thought whether it was Chalk-browed mockingbird

写真を見ると、鳥の体形はMockingbirdと似ているが、全身はやや茶色っぽく、翼に目立つ白い帯がある。White-banded mockingbirdのようだ。初めて見た。
When I looked at the photos I took, the whole body of the bird resembled the mockingbird and was brownish and there was a vivid
white stripe on the wing. The bird may be White-banded mockingbird. I saw this bird for the first time.

この鳥は主にアルゼンチンで繁殖するが今後の研究が必要である、非繁殖期にはボリビア、パラグアイ、ブラジル南部、
ウルグアイと北方に長距離の渡りをする、との記述がある。かなり近くから写真を撮ったが、小鳥はあまり気にしていないようだった。
