オビハシカイツブリの子育て-No.2 （Child care of Pied-billed grebe of Ñu guazu Park, Paraguay - No.2）
- 2015年12月8日（宗教祝日）、ニュワス公園とGuazu Metropolitano公園を散歩した。 ニュワス公園の大きい池に行くとカイツブリが4羽の雛を育てている光景を目にした。 親が大きいタウナギを捕ると一番大きい雛がそれを食べた。次の雛にはやや大きい魚を与えた。一番小さい雛には小さい魚を捕って与えた。 親は雛が魚を飲み込むまで見守っている。この光景を見て親の愛情に感銘した。魚の多いこの池では大きさの違う雛も成長していける。
- On November 8, 2015 (religious holiday), I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. When I went to the big pond of Nu Guazu Park, I saw the scene that a grebe raised four fledglings. When the parent caught a big Fluta alba, the biggest fledgling ate it. The parent gave the next fledgling a slightly big fish. The parent caught a small fish and gave it to the smallest fledgling. The parent watches the fledgling until it swallows the fish. I was moved by the love of the parent to see this scene. The young bird of different in size can grow up in this pond with many fish.
池にカイツブリの親子の姿が見えた。しばらく見ていたら親がタウナギを捕った。すかさず雛たちが近寄ってきた。
A parent and children of the grebe were seen in the pond. The parent caught Fluta alba when
I was looking at them for a while. The fledglings approached the parent without a moment's delay.

子が餌を飲み込んだのを見とどけると、親はすぐ水に潜って次の漁です。3分後に今度は魚を捕りました。
親：「まめちゃん、これはあんたが食べなさい」

The parent caught a fish this time three minutes later.

- 2015年12月6日、ニュワス公園とGuazu Metropolitano公園を散歩した。11時過ぎにニュワス公園の大きい池に行くとカイツブリが4羽の雛を育てている光景を目にした。この池にはタウナギが沢山生息するようだ。親はタウナギを捕って雛に与えた。雛にとっては大きいタウナギを飲みこむのも生きる訓練のようだ。
- On November 6, 2015, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and Guazu Metropolitano Park. When I went to the big pond of Nu Guazu Park, I saw the scene that a grebe raised four fledglings. A lot of South America Fluta alba seems to inhabit this pond. The parent caught a Fluta alba and gave a fledgling it. It was like the training to live for the young bird to swallow the big Fluta alba.
金曜日（12/4）に降った大雨で池の水が増している。公園の木も何本か倒れていた。池にカイツブリの親子の姿が見えた。しばらく見ていたら親がタウナギを捕った。すかさず雛たちが近寄ってきた。
The water of the pond increases by the heavy rain that fell on Friday (Dec. 4). A number of trees of the park also fell down. A parent and children of the grebe were seen in the pond. The parent caught Fluta alba when I was looking at them for a while. The fledglings approached the parent without a moment's delay.
