貫禄のあるクイナ （A water rail with dignified presence）
2015年10月24日、ニュワス公園と北西に接するもう一つの大きい公園であるGuazu Metropolitano Parkの両方を散歩した。両公園の間には川が流れていて橋を渡って往来できる。ゴミが散乱し魚の住まないドブ川かと思っていたが、そうではなかった。橋から川を見ていたら急に大きな水鳥が現れた。初めて見る大きなクイナだ。
On October 24, 2015, I strolled in Nu Guazu Park and adjacent Guazu Metropolitano Park which was another big park contracted northwest of Nu Guazu Park. A river flows between both parks and you can come and go across the bridge. I have been thinking whether it is the ditch river where garbage is scattered and fish does not live in, but it is not so. A big waterfowl appeared suddenly when I was watching the river from the bridge. It was a big water rail to see for the first time for me.

クイナは立ち止まり川を覗いていたが急に首を水に突っ込んだ。
The water rail stopped and looked in the river, then suddenly shoved the neck into the water.

クイナはくちばしに小さい魚を摘んでいる、そして、水から上がり魚を摘んだまま歩いて遠ざかって行った。
The water rail picks up a small fish to the bill. The bird landed on the shore and walked away with the fish to the bill.
