- 2015年8月6 ? 8日、アスンシオンから車で約5時間の場所にあるチャコ地方のLoma Plataに旅行した。 主にメノナイト移住地を訪れた。8月6日、アスンシオンからLoma Plataに車で国道9号線を通って行く途中、草原にダチョウのような大形の鳥がいるのが見えた。 あっ！野生のアメリカレアだ。この鳥は南アメリカ東部の固有種である。
- On August 6 ? 8, 2015, six of us traveled around Loma Plata of the Chaco district in Paraguay which located about five hours from Asuncion by car. We mainly visited Mennonite Colonies. On August 6, we went from Asuncion to Loma Plata by car through Route 9. The wilderness that is characteristic of the Chaco district spreads out in right and left of the road. I saw that there were large birds like ostrich on the way on the grassy plain. Oh!, that is the wild Greater rhea. It is endemic to eastern South America.
