シロハラヒメウソ (Sporophila leucoptera)

ニュワス公園に住むヒメウソ -3- (Seedeater living in Parque Ñu Guazu -3-)

• 2014年11月15日、ニュワス公園の湖畔を歩いていると、フタスジヒメウソがいた対岸沿いの草むらに、 同じように草の実を食べている小鳥を見かけた。フタスジヒメウソより少し大きいと思ったが、肉眼では詳しい配色は分からなかった。 背中は灰褐色だが、腹部は白く、くちばしが赤っぽい。配色が明瞭なのでヒメウソのオスだ。 このヒメウソも食事に夢中で良い被写体になってくれた。写真判定でシロハラヒメウソのオスで間違いない。
• November 15, 2014, When I was walking along the lakeside in Parque Ñu Guazu, I saw a bird eating grass seeds in the grass at an opposite shore from the place I saw the Double-collared seedeater. I thought it was a little larger than the Double-collared seedeater, but I could not see the detailed color scheme by my naked eye. The back is ash brown, abdomen is white and beak is reddish. It is the male of seedeater because the color scheme is clear. This seedeater could be also a good object for me to take pictures probably because it is concentrating on eating grass seeds. It is no doubt this little bird is White-bellied seedeater judging from the photos.

背中は灰褐色だが、腹部は白く、くちばしが赤っぽい。配色が明瞭なのでヒメウソのオスだ。
The back is ash brown, abdomen is white and beak is reddish. It is the male of seedeater because the color scheme is clear.
