チャコ湿地で見るサカツラトキ （Bare-faced ibis found on the damp ground of Chaco)

• 2015年8月6 ? 8日、アスンシオンから車で約5時間の場所にあるチャコ地方のLoma Plataに旅行した。 8月6日、塩水湖に行くと、遠くの岸辺に中型の鳥の群が見えた。遠いので肉眼では良く分からなかったが、 写真を見ると4羽のトキ、4羽のシラサギ、それに2羽のカモだった。
• On August 6 ? 8, 2015, six of us traveled around Loma Plata of the Chaco district in Paraguay which located about five hours from Asuncion by car. When we went to one of the saline lakes on August 6, a flock of medium-sized birds was seen on the far-off bank. Because it was far, they were not clear by naked eye, but were four ibis, four white heron and two ducks after examined by the photo.

2015年8月6 ? 8日、アスンシオンから車で約5時間の場所にあるチャコ地方のLoma Plataに旅行した。 8月6日、塩水湖に行くと、遠くの岸辺に中型の鳥の群が見えた。遠いので肉眼では良く分からなかったが、 写真を見ると4羽のトキ、4羽のシラサギ、それに2羽のカモだった。この中で一番大きい灰色っぽい鳥はハイイロトキだ。 その後ろにいる小さく嘴の赤っぽいトキはサカツラトキだ。
On August 6 ? 8, 2015, six of us traveled around Loma Plata of the Chaco district in Paraguay which located about five hours from Asuncion by car. Because it was far, they were not clear by naked eye, but were four ibis, four white heron and two ducks after examined by the photo. The grayish largest bird among them is Plumbeous ibis. The small ibis with reddish bill is Bare-faced ibis.

8月8日、Loma Plataからアスンシオンに車で国道9号線を通って帰る途中、湿原に中型の鳥の群がいるのが見えた。
On August 8, on the way back from Loma Plata to Asuncion by car, I saw a flock of medium-sized birds in the damp plain.

遠いので肉眼では良く分からなかったが、写真を見ると複数の鳥類の集団だった。それらは、約10羽のサケビドリ、約10羽のトキ、 それにシラサギだった。トキの群には顔とくちばしが赤っぽいトキと、それらの黒っぽいトキがいる。 前者はサカツラトキと分かるが、後者は別種かどうか分からない。
Because it was far, they were not clear by naked eye, but were consists of different species of birds after examined by expanded photos. They were about 10 of Southern screamer, about 10 of ibis and some herons. There are two types of ibises, with reddish face and bill and with blackish face and bill. The former is identified as Bare-faced ibis, but the latter is not clear whether it is another species.
