下山途中で木の花に飛来したハチドリに出会った。

下山途中で木の枝に止まりさえずっているハチドリに出会った。 南国の山林に住むワタアシハチドリの仲間と思われる。
On the way of descent we met a hummingbird singing on a branch of a tree. I wonder if it would be a Sapphire-vented puffleg living in a tropical mountain forest.

ワイナピチュ山に登る途中で木の枝に止まるハチドリを見かけた。

インカ都市マチュピチュはマチュピチュ山（老いた峰、3,082 m）とワイナピチュ山（若い峰、2,720 m）の尾根に築かれた。2014年7月12日、私達は早朝7時の入山予約をしてワイナピチュ山に登った。登山道は急峻な所が多い。7月は冬だが乾季で日差しが強いのでむしろ暑く軽装で十分だった。登山の途中でハチドリを3回見かけた。
The Machu Picchu city of the Incas sits in a saddle between the two mountains Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu,　with a commanding view down two valleys and a nearly impassable mountain at its back. July 12, 2014, we climbed the mountain Huayna Picchu on reservation to climb at 7:00 early in the morning. The mountain trails are often steep. It is winter in July here, but it was hot enough to be lightly dressed because it was in the dry season and sunlight was strong. I saw three times a hummingbird on the way of climbing.
