ニュワス公園のハイムネタイランチョウの飛翔（Flight of Gray Monjita in Ñu Guazu Park）
小枝の先端に止ったハイムネタイランチョウが飛び出す瞬間を撮れた。小鳥の胸は灰色、風切り羽は黒いが翼の白いストライプが目立つ。
I was able to take the moment when the Gray ｍonjita was going to fly from the tip of a small tree.
The chest of the small bird is gray, and the flight feather is black, but the white stripe of the wing is outstanding.

小さい木に向かって飛んでいくハイムネタイランチョウを追ってみた。小鳥の背中は灰色、風切り羽は黒いが翼の白いストライプが目立つ。
黒い尾羽の先端は灰色っぽい。この小鳥の背面は意外性のあるパターンを持ち面白い。
I chased the Gray ｍonjita which flew towards a small tree. The back of the small bird is gray, and the flight feather is black,
but the white stripe of the wing is outstanding. The tip of the black tail feather is gray-like.
The pattern of the back of this bird is in unexpected variation patterns and interesting.

ニュワス公園のハイムネタイランチョウ（Gray Monjita in Parque Ñu Guazu）
この小鳥はパラグアイ国アスンシオン市ニュワス公園(Parque Ñu Guazu)で見たタイランチョウです。
飛ぶ虫を見ると飛び出し空中捕獲する。
This is a small bird of Tyranidae family seen in Parque Ñu Guazu.
The birds usually catch insects in mid-air, after a short sally flight from a perch.

この小鳥は目に特徴があり腹部が灰色なのでハイムネタイランチョウだ。

今回、高い電線に止まるハイムネタイランチョウを見た。

毛虫を捕ったハイムネタイランチョウ (Gray Monjita having caught a hairy caterpillar)
2015年6月27日、ニュワス公園のいつもの場所にハイムネタイランチョウがいた。近づいたらより遠くの小枝に飛び移った。
木の枝から草原を見ていたが、急に飛び出し草原に向かいすぐ枝に戻った。小鳥は何か獲物をくわえているようだ。
On June 27, 2015, there was a Gray Monjita perching on a twig in the usual place of Nu Guazu Park.
The bird moved to another twig when I approached. The bird was watching a grassy plain from the branch of the tree,
and then suddenly made a short sally flight from a perch to there and came back to the branch.
The bird seems to have some game in its beak.

毛虫は動いているようにも見えないが、小鳥はそれを飲み込みやすいようにたたきつけている。
The caterpillar does not seem to be moving, but the bird is striking it onto a branch to be easy to swallow it.

毛虫は動いているようにも見えないが、小鳥はそれを飲み込みやすいようにたたきつけている。
The caterpillar does not seem to be moving, but the bird is striking it onto a branch to be easy to swallow it.

小鳥はこの2枚の写真の間に毛虫を飲み込んだ。その瞬間を撮影は出来なかった。
The bird swallowed the caterpillar between these two pieces of photos. I was not able to take a photo just the moment.

小鳥は毛虫を飲み込んだ後、しばらく小枝で休んでいる。ハイムネタイランチョウはシロネタイランチョウなどより体が大きいので色々な虫を食べるようだ。これまでに、ハイムネタイランチョウがバッタ、クモそれに今回の毛虫を捕ったところを写真に撮れた。
After having swallowed the caterpillar, the bird takes a rest on the twig for a while. Gray ｍonjita seems to eat various insects and worms because it is bigger than White monjita. I could take photos so far when the Gray monjita caught a grasshopper, a spider and this hairy caterpillar.

2014年9月27日、アスンシオンのニュワス公園(Parque Ñu Guazu)を散歩した。今回、バッタを捕ったハイムネタイランチョウに遭遇した。

小鳥は木の枝に止り、獲物を木に打ちつけていた。肉眼では獲物が何か分からなかったが写真で見るとバッタだ。
The bird was perching on a tree and hitting a prey to the tree. The prey was a grasshopper viewed in the photo
though I could not see it by naked eyes.

2014年12月6日、アスンシオンのニュワス公園(Parque Ñu Guazu)を散歩した。
今回、大きいクモ（タランチュラ？）を捕ったハイムネタイランチョウに遭遇した。

小鳥は獲物を地面に打ちつけていた。肉眼では獲物が何か分からなかったが写真で見ると大きなクモだ。
The bird was hitting a prey on the ground. The prey was a big spider viewed in the photo
though I could not see it by my naked eyes.

ハイムネタイランチョウはスズメより大きい。獲物のクモは小鳥の頭位もある、いわゆるタランチュラだろうか？
タランチュラを獲物にする赤い目の鳥、なんか怖いイメージに見えますが、実のところタランチュラの毒は弱く、
いくつかの種類は美しく世話がかからないのでペットとして人気があるそうです。
Gray Monjita is larger than a sparrow. The prey of spider is as large as the head of the bird, would be so-called tarantula?
Bird with red eyes to prey the tarantula, looks something scary images, but in fact,
tarantula venom is weak, and some kind is so popular as pets because it is beautiful and needs little care.
