オナガオンドリタイランチョウのメス。生息環境の消失によりこのオナガオンドリタイランチョウは絶滅危惧種になっている。現在、パラグアイ南部の北から東北地域、アルゼンチンの東北部、それにウルグアイの西部に生息地域の半分位が残っているとのこと。
It is said that Strange-tailed tyrant is threatened by habitat loss; approximately half of its range still exists in the north and northeast in southern Paraguay, northeastern Argentina, and western Uruguay.
