「Student Project」
Several projects are in progress. The 3rd year and 4th year students are enthusiastic to make new projects
and are making hardware and software by utilizing JICA donated machines and devices.
いくつかの学生プロジェクトが進行中です。３年生、４年生は新しいプロジェクトを立案し遂行することにとても熱心です。
JICAの協力で供与された機材などを使ってハードウェアとソフトウェアを作っています。

４年生の学生向け講義「PICを使ったメカトロニクス応用」です。私、高瀬が講義を行いました。
「Lecture of Applied Mechatronics 2」
Objective: Microcomputer and microcontroller are widely used in industry to control machines
and various devices. In this course, practical techniques to use PIC microcontroller
and some examples to use Windows API are provided.
Term: Thursday 8:00 ~ 10:00, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29, 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10 (Total of 12)

On April 26, 2007, students in Computer Automation Department in Damascus University visited the Mechtronics Department.

Basics About Mechatronics Department
* In the end of Dec 2002 JICA export Professor Takashi Tsuzuki arrived for a short time assignment.
* Mechatronics team, consist of various technical doctors, engineers, and students, was established.
* In a short Period, an excellent Mechatronics project was started and this made the preparation to start Mechatronics Dep.
* After that JICA made decision to equip Mechatronics Laboratories. As a result, All JICA equipments arrived before December 2004.
* The first Mechatronics Dep in Syria started in 2003/2004 academic year.
The main features of Technical Cooperation Between JICA and Elc & Mech faculty in the field of Mechatronics
To educate creative and Practical young engineers for local Industry.
To make closer relation between Mechatronics Dept and local industry.
To create mutual relation between Mechatronics Dept and related departments In Japanese universities.
Establish new Mechatronics Training center In Tishreen University.
Send Doctors and Engineers to Japan and other countries for training by JICA Assistance.
Invite Japanese professors for technical seminars.

On April 26, 2007 Mr. Shimaguchi, coordinator of JICA Syria Office, visited the Mechatronics Department
and was looking around the laboratory.
