クリバネコウウチョウの家族かな？ Are these a family of Grayish baywings?
- 2015年12月27日、緑の都公園 (Parque Capital Verde) を散歩した。アスンシオン中心街からバスで15分位の所に大きい庭園と動物園がある（JARDIN BOTANICO Y ZOOLOGICO）。この場所はパラグアイ川に近い。庭園と道路を挟んで公園があったので歩いて見た。公園の北西部はパラグアイ川に接していた。断続的な雨が続きパラグアイ川の水位が上昇し、公園の低地は水没していた。
- On December 27, 2015, I strolled in Green Capital Park. There is a big plant garden and zoo at about 15 minutes from the Asuncion city center by bus. This place is near the Paraguay River. There was the park across the road from the garden and then I strolled in. The northwestern part of the park contacted with the Paraguay River. Intermittent rain continued and water level of the Paraguay river rose, and the low land of the park was buried in water.
緑の都公園 (Parque Capital Verde)の北西部はパラグアイ川に接していた。パラグアイ川に接する草原の小枝に茶色っぽい小鳥が飛んで来て止った。以前見たことのあるクリバネコウウチョウだ。
The northwestern part of Capital Verde Park contacted with the Paraguay River. Brownish small birds flew coming and perched on the twig of the grassy plain adjacent to the Paraguay River. It was the Grayish baywing which I saw before (Aug. 29, 2015).

2羽の小鳥が草原に飛んで下りた。1羽は口を開けて餌をねだるしぐさをするので親子のようだ。
The two birds flew down on the grassy plain. They seems to be parent and child because one of them opens a mouth and asks for bait.

草原にはフエフキサギも2羽いた。1羽がクリバネコウウチョウのいる場所近くに歩いてきた。突然、コウウチョウ2羽が飛んでサギの方向に向かった。サギは驚いて羽毛を逆立てている。
There were two Whistling herons on the grassy plain too. One of them walked near the place where there were Grayish baywings. The two Grayish baywings flew towards the heron suddenly. The heron ruffled a feather in wonder.

コウウチョウがサギを攻撃したのかと思ったが、そうではなくイモムシを見つけたのでそれを捕るため飛んだようだった。
I wondered if the Grayish baywings attacked the heron, but then seemed to fly to catch a worm they found.

コウウチョウはイモムシを捕まえてくわえている。サギは「なんだよ、お前ら」と言った表情でそれを見ている。
The baywing caught a worm and had in its bill. The heron watches it with an expression “Hey you, what happened?”

数分後、飛び去ったコウウチョウがまた戻ってきて木の枝にとまった。もう一羽もやってきてまた餌をねだっている。
The baywing which flew away several minutes before returned again and perched on the branch of the tree. Another baywing came over too and asked for bait again.

さらにもう一羽飛んできてコウウチョウ3羽が集まった。きっと家族なのだろう。
Another one more flew coming and three Grayish baywing gathered. Surely they will be a family.
